Recently, physiotherapy students from Arcada University of applied sciences (Helsinki, Finland) had the unique opportunity to use the LymphaTouch device during their clinical practice at school and in real-time settings at an international badminton tournament. After a professionally guided two-hour workshop, students quickly adapted to using the device independently, even without prior knowledge of the lymphatic system. Their motivation to use LymphaTouch grew as they observed quick, positive results, such as reduced swelling after an acute ankle sprain and muscle relaxation after intense training.

Students found the LymphaTouch device highly user-friendly, noting its intuitive controls and straightforward interface. The device allowed even those with no prior knowledge of the lymphatic system to operate it confidently after only a short training session. The guided lymphatic edema programs provided clear instructions, making it easy for students to follow the steps and see effective results. The design of the device it self is also easy to use, there is no complicated setups or controls. The simplicity of the use empowered students to try with confidence different treatments.

LymphaTouch’s compact size and lightweight design made it ideal to use across multiple treatment environments. Students could easily transport the device between clinical settings, between different treatment rooms, areas and take it to the badminton tournament even using public transport without any logistical challenges. This flexibility enables to offer LymphaTouch treatments in a variety of locations, from clinic rooms to sports venues and even patients’ homes.

During clinical practice, students applied LymphaTouch to manage edema following acute ankle sprains, witnessing reduction in swelling and quick relief from the pressure sensations often associated with edema. This positive effect on swelling highlighted the device’s capacity to support faster recovery and symptom relief for acute injuries. After intense physical training the device effectively relaxed tight muscles, providing relief from recovering from hard training sessions.

Patient feedback underscored the comfort and effectiveness of LymphaTouch treatment. Patients consistently reported a pleasant sensation, noting how the gentle negative pressure relieved pain without causing discomfort even in acute pain and swelling. Even sensitive pain patients felt relaxed. The use of the device’s highlighted its ability be used in various cases and needs. The satisfaction expressed by patients overall was encouraging for students. The students even noted that LymphaTouch did not only affect patient experience but also offered an ergonomic benefits for therapists by providing a hands-free, device-assisted technique without compromising the patient experience.
