Helmikuun MM-kisoissa loukkaantunut maajoukkuehiihtäjä Arsi Ruuskanen on käyttänyt LymphaTouchia kuntoutuksessaan. Ruuskasen kausi keskeytyi rajussa ulosajossa, jossa hiihtäjän jalka kärsi pahoja pehmytkudosvaurioita. Finnish Cross-Country National Team skier Arsi Ruuskanen, who was injured in the World Championships in February, has been using LymphaTouch in his rehabilitation. Ruuskanen`s season was interrupted by a severe crash, which resulted in serious soft tissue injuries to his leg. Two weeks after the collision, his leg still had significant swelling, which slowed down the rehabilitation process.
Following a suggestion from the national team`s medical staff, Ruuskanen started regular LymphaTouch treatments, which effectively reduced the swelling, improved range of motion, and accelerated the rehabilitation process, according to the medical staff.
The skier himself was also satisfied with the treatments:
"LymphaTouch negative pressure device has been helpful in the rehabilitation of my leg from the very beginning. In the initial stages, the device reduced swelling and restored mobility 🦵 Later on, I have used the device to expedite leg recovery after exertion!"
We wish Arsi success and a great preparation for the upcoming season!

I got introduced to lymphatouch back in 2014 at NLN conference in Washington DC. The device truly intrigued me and I got permission from my manager to get a rental - however the hospital I was working at required a higher liability insurance from the company - though negative pressure device is non invasive - so that path was shut down quickly.
So I’ve been using other negative pressure device to help my patients - maintain myofascial cupping and sink plunger.
So when louisaboyd19 offered to treat me with Lymphatouch post surgery, I jumped on it. It definitely felt gentle and effective - my scar tissue seems looser after and the swelling in my rib cage went down (and has not returned since).
“LymphaTouch® negative pressure treatment can be applied to several treatment areas, including lymphedema, preoperative and postoperative swelling and scarring, fascial tightness, muscle maintenance, active recovery, pain management and improving joint functionality.

Aside from all the benefits above, I love the fact that we can set the exact pressure on the area that we want to treat, and reduce the safety risk of using this type of device on patients with lymphedema or at risk for lymphedema.
Also, as a therapist, I use my hands constantly - and when I used to see 7 patients a day doing mostly manual therapy, it was really hard on my upper body and neck. Using a tool like Lymphatouch can really be beneficial for the patients, but also save our hands!!

I love using the lymphatouch in MSK trauma with some nice results!
👉🏻Using here with a severe zone 5 FDS/FDP, FCU and ulnar nerve repair trying to mobilize soft tissue adhesions.
👉🏻 This individual scarred so densely. Used both continuous and pulsed @ 150 mm/HG along with tendon glides/blocking exercises for tissue differential glide/tendon excursion.
👉🏻Tough case but lymphatouch helped mobilized adherent tissue!
